Offbeat Atlanta Wedding Entertainment (Part Two of Bridal Bazaar at Paris on Ponce) -

Are you back? Pretty cool, right? Well, we’re not done.

Now it’s time to enter … Le Maison Rouge!

Guess what? The first thing to greet us is … more food! 🙂

First, there was tons of good eatin’ from Three Sisters Catering:

Now, a couple weeks have passed since then and, unfortunately, my feeble mind has forgotten exactly what was on the menu. (If anyone who was there reads this and wants to fill me in, please do.)

I do remember that there was lobster paella (I can remember that because of the Seinfeld episode “The Raincoats.”)

And I do remember that all of it was good.

And because you can never have too many sweets, especially when they’re pretty and itty-bitty cupcakes, Bake, Rattle, and Roll had many platters of cupcakes in a variety of flavors. I had Key Lime Pie, which was very good!

Also, Tyler at King of Pops had his organic popsicle cart set up with a variety of flavors.

Then the entertainment began, and let me be the first to say that this entertainment was very, very different from the wedding entertainment that I provide as a wedding pianist.

For example, you will probably be happy to know that I do not do anything remotely like this when I am hired for a wedding

Also, how many of you have ever dreamily thought to yourselves, “Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve dreamed of my perfect wedding, complete with a fire-eating circus troupe”?

If you have (or even if you never have, but it’s sounding like an awfully good idea now that you think of), then you definitely need to contact Molotov, Kizka, and Zolophd from Thimblerig Circus.

Here’s Kizka asking a member of the audience to remove the nail that she just drove into her own nose. Now there’s a way to impress your wedding guests! 🙂

And that was the Bridal Bazaar in a nutshell. A big thanks to Linda and Donna from Be a Bride for putting together the event, as well as Cindy and Sharon, Same Sex Wedding Photographers, who took all the photos (except for the first one, which was taken on my iPad.)
