I wrote this review the same weekend I wrote my review for the DIY Bride Crafty Countdown, and this one was definitely my lesser favorite of the two books. In Crafty Countdown, there were at least two projects that grabbed me as something I would enjoy doing if were putting together a wedding, and I didn’t feel that way about Bride on a Budget. Maybe it was because Budget‘s crafts were a little too ornate for my tastes, or maybe it was just because Crafty Countdown was laid out so nicely and really appealed to someone like me who always feels “Craft Challenged.”
Obviously it depends on what you’re looking for in a DIY book. You can probably tell from the description and photos whether this is “your style” or not — and, of course, you can always check out the reviews at the link below!
