It’s the day after Thanksgiving, so that means it’s time to start thinking about Christmas!
Here are some Winter Holiday Wedding Ideas I found from other wedding professionals in the Atlanta area.

These two winter-themed centerpieces from Atlanta Bridal, who hosted a holiday luncheon at the Atlanta History Center in Buckhead.
The centerpieces were provided by Atlanta Florist Perfect Petals, and the photos were taken by Lee Patterson at Patterson Photography.
Looking for inspiration for a December wedding cake?
Lake Lanier, who you already know is one of my favorite wedding venues in Atlanta, has this post about Wedding Winter Cakes, including this Snowflake Cake.
And Rosabelle Manor, a wedding venue north of Atlanta that specializes in “Old Southern Charm,” offers these Winter Wedding Tips:
* Consider ornaments or tins of hot chocoate mix with marshmallows in a personalized wrapper for your wedding favors. “Snow globes, holiday candy jars and winter candles (think snowflakes, pinecones, white, red and silver) are other great ideas.”
* Soups such as butternut squash or corn chowder give your guests a cozy feel.
* For Christmas wedding colors, use dark blues, silvers, white or cream and golds. “The use of snowflakes and glitter is also totally acceptable – create your own winter wonderland!”
And since I’m a wedding musician, I guess I should add some suggestions for romantic Christmas songs!
Okay, how do these sound?
* Baby, it’s Cold Outside
* Winter Wonderland
* Let it Snow
* White Christmas
Gotta run — it’s almost time for my family to put up our Christmas tree! 🙂
