I had the pleasure of playing for the Atlanta chapter of Wedding Industry Professional Association this week.
It was at The Foundry at Puritan Mill, which was a venue I’d never been to before. It was built in 1921 as has 12,00 square feet containing original pine beams, expansive skylights, and polished concrete floors. It doesn’t have a piano, so I brought my Yamaha digital piano.

I played for cocktail hour, and since it was a meeting rather than a wedding, I got to be a little more creative with my song choices. In addition to the usual, I played “Piano Man” by Billy Joel, “Sultans of Swing” by Dire Straits, and even “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen.

The speaker was Jenny Munn, whose topic was “Are You Relevant? New Rules for SEO.” I’m a little bit of a techy geek myself, so SEO is always an interesting topic for me, and Jenny definitely had some good things to say.

A big thanks to Julie Anne Wedding Photographer for inviting me, as well as all the vendors who helped put together a great evening:
